The 1891

Why The 1891? In 1891, Mary Sternberg Thomas and Josephine Moody Luthe became the first women admitted to the practice of law in Colorado.

We are proud to provide a community for women in the legal field, online and off.  We encourage participation from our fellow Colorado lawyers and seek to promote diverse voices and viewpoints. We invite you to contribute and engage by joining our book club, submitting post ideas, or sharing networking events and meet-ups on our InRealLife forum.

Welcome to The 1891 CWBA Blog!

When you become a member of The 1891 you will receive blog articles direct to your email, access to read and post on all the CWBA forum pages and be able to interact with other members through your own profile page!
